The house had been heavily damaged by pyrite movement and the clients took the opportunity during remedial works to totally update the house.
The family wanted a large open plan ground floor with better connection to the garden that was provided by the removal of several structural walls. They also required an attic conversion to increase usable space. Due to limited space in the existing attic we applied for planning permission to remove the hip of the roof and convert it into a gable. This enabled a generous attic conversion.
